World’s Toughest Mudder is the most extreme, insane, imposing, pulse-pounding, heart-stopping 24-hour obstacle course challenge on the planet. The man, woman and/or team (2+ participants) that completes the most 5-mile (8km) course laps at this outsized event in a 24 hour period will be crowned champion. Individuals and teams who complete 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles will be honored for their efforts. World’s Toughest Mudder is open to athletes of all levels. However, to be a contender for prize money competitors must be a top finisher at a 2018 Toughest Mudder event.
World’s Toughest Mudder 2018 is a 5-mile (8km) circuit race peppered with 20-25 of Tough Mudder’s biggest, baddest, most insane obstacles, including never-before-seen 2018 obstacles and a handful of World’s Toughest-only obstacles, at a rate of 4 tougher-than-you-ever-thought-possible obstacles per mile. “The Pit” is where competitors set up camp in order to rest, recharge, and refuel during the event, aided by up to 4 “Pit Crew” members per participant. Event winners will be the man, woman, and/or team that complete the most laps in a 24-hour period.
The course is designed by the same mad (sadistic is a little strong, but it’s close) minds that deliver Tough Mudder’s world-class obstacles and events every season. However, whether you’ve completed one Mudder or 200, you’ve never encountered obstacles like the ones you’ll find at World’s. In addition to debuting out of this world (see what we did there?) obstacles that’ll be found on course at 2018 Tough Mudder events, this insane course features exclusive obstacles tailored to the harsh landscape and 5 unique miles of World’s Toughest Mudder.
While this event, unlike a regular Tough Mudder event, has winners, it does not have losers. World’s Toughest Mudder is a challenge that brings together and celebrates the worldwide obstacle course community, as well as Mudder Nation. Laps may be tracked, but the same core Tough Mudder values – teamwork, camaraderie, and leaving no Mudder behind – ring truer than ever on this course. Adding to the camaraderie, the course features “The Pit” – an area where all participants and “Pit Crew” camp, sleep, recover, and refuel.
The World's Toughest Mudder, after four years in Las Vegas, heads for Atalanta, Georgia in 2018. The dates are set for 11 & 12 November, 2018 and with the race happening in Fairburn, Georgia about 40 minutes outside of Atlanta.
